OCTOBER
There is something about October.
The mornings arrive a little colder, the trees turn copper and crimson, and suddenly you’re reaching for the sweater you forgot how much you loved. Apples are piled high at roadside stands, leaves gather along the edges of quiet streets, and somewhere in the distance, woodsmoke curls into a perfectly blue autumn sky.
October captures that fleeting, golden stretch of fall with the scent of crisp Macintosh apple wrapped in warm, buttery caramel. Cinnamon and brown sugar add a gentle touch of spice, while maple and creamy vanilla settle in underneath, rich and comforting without becoming too sweet.
It smells like an afternoon spent wandering beneath changing trees. Like coming home with a bag of apples in the passenger seat. Like caramel warming on the stove while the windows are cracked just enough to let the cool air in.
